Ronald Reagan said "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are I'm from the government and I'm here to help". Unfortunately, that couldn't be more true today than ever before. Its a proven fact that without the power of the free market system, government has no incentive to produce a good or service with efficiency let alone at or below budget.
Fortunately, though, I can proudly proclaim, "I'm from the Private Sector and I'm here to help!"
I'm now working with a company that has helped their customers, local municipalities, save over $100 million to date -- and growing. My associate currently has three main clients with solutions geared towards saving significant costs at the city, county or even the school district level.
When a local government has a budget shortfall, how do they typically respond?
"We need to raise taxes to make up the difference"
"We're going to have to cut services"
"We have to fire employees"
What if there was another option? What if there was a way to provide the same level of service, with the same number of employees while saving between 15-30% of your budget?
Seems hard to believe, I know.
