In April of 2010, Jason and Tom Tillison, a local leader of the tea party movement, joined forces in launching a news & opinion website with the goal of taking on existing left leaning biased news outlets.   When comparing to other choices for information in Central Florida, the need became apparent for a news source that not only included the conservative point of view, but one willing to cover the stories not being reported by the rest of the media.

Towards the end of 2010, Jason and Tom brought on Clyde Fabretti as a partner to manage the business development as well as assist with a re-launch of the site as FloridaPoliticalPress.com. With an impressive first year behind them and a growing number of contributors from around the state, FloridaPoliticalPress.com is poised to drive the political discussion running up to and through the 2012 elections.
