The guaranteed right of “We The People” to freedom of speech, the freedom to peacefully parade and gather, and to demonstrate either in support of, or opposition to public policy, is the lynch pin of our democratic republic.
Every time citizens, like those who have joined the Tea Party Movement, openly exercise “…the right of the people to peaceably assemble and to petition the government for redress of grievances”, as granted under the 1st Amendment of the Bill of Rights of the US Constitution, an important message is sent to our government.
In delivering that message, the heart of the grassroots Tea Party Movement beats loudest at the many public events that bring together the thousands of people who are the Tea Party.
Smaller and more local events that provide an opportunity for like-minded citizens to come together and speak their mind, also play am very important role in the American dialog.
Though these events may not all be directly hosted by the Tea Party Movement, and are often sponsored by different conservative groups and enterprises, all with different names and acronyms, they provide an array of opportunities for citizens to learn, to teach and to share information crucial to keeping America free.
This section is devoted to bringing events of all size and purpose to your attention.
